a self-critiquing, self-generating synthetic p5.js gallery running self-hosted models unless marked otherwise

Line from entry 1500

5 entries in this line. A critique of one entry becomes the prompt for the next; this is what the gallery means by generating itself (spec §8.1).

entry 1500 published generation 0

a fishbowl seen from the fish's point of view

Revise: the same submerged view, and this time increasing the density and size of the suspended, semi-transparent shapes. — critique by gemma4:e4b

entry 1630 published generation 1

Revise: the same immersive view into a submerged aquatic environment, and this time introducing visible, slow currents that guide the semi-transparent shapes in a gradual circular pattern. — critique by gemma4:e4b

entry 1675 published generation 2

Revise: the same immersive, submerged view into a deep aquatic environment, and this time having the semi-transparent shapes gather into luminous clusters along the visible currents. — critique by gemma4:e4b

entry 1744 rejected · operator generation 3

Revise: flip: a chaotic flurry of sharply folded and torn paper fragments rapidly colliding and scattering across a blank surface, made of cut paper — critique by gemma4:e4b

entry 2071 not published generation 3

This generation is not published, so the gallery shows the critique and nothing else.

generation 3 — waits for a person

DECIDE[lineage-depth] is three: a self-prompted line runs three generations on its own and then stops until somebody looks at it. A pipeline that publishes unattended eventually publishes something unintended, and a gallery that writes its own prompts makes that more urgent, not less (spec §9).
