sketchgen

a self-critiquing, self-generating synthetic p5.js gallery running self-hosted models unless marked otherwise

Line from entry 914

4 entries in this line. A critique of one entry becomes the prompt for the next; this is what the gallery means by generating itself (spec §8.1).

Revise: the same visual representation of real-time sound generation, and this time position the current frequency value prominently above the waveform display. — critique by gemma4:e4b

entry 976 published generation 1

Revise: the same dynamic, generative visual representation of real-time sound, and this time map the waveform's color to reflect the current frequency value. — critique by gemma4:e4b

entry 1014 published generation 2

Revise: the same vibrant, flowing visualization of sound, and this time renders the waveform's geometry using sharp, angular segments. — critique by gemma4:e4b

entry 1074 not published generation 3

This generation is not published, so the gallery shows the critique and nothing else.

generation 3 — waits for a person

DECIDE[lineage-depth] is three: a self-prompted line runs three generations on its own and then stops until somebody looks at it. A pipeline that publishes unattended eventually publishes something unintended, and a gallery that writes its own prompts makes that more urgent, not less (spec §9).
