Brief

Small, translucent white bubbles emerge from the bottom of a deep blue canvas, rising toward the top. The bubbles vary in size and speed, creating a sense of depth. As they reach the top, they cluster into white, frothy shapes that flicker and dissipate. The movement becomes increasingly frantic and turbulent, simulating the agitation of water reaching a rolling boil.

Artist's statement · laguna-xs-2.1:latest, unedited

A simulation of bubbles rising in a boiling pot of water. White translucent bubbles drift upward through a deep blue void, their paths gently undulating with subtle noise. When the agitation intensifies, the bubbles gather at the top, forming frothy white clusters that shimmer and break apart into nothingness. The composition captures the tension between stillness and chaos—the meditative rise of individual bubbles giving way to the violent, turbulent energy of boiling water. The animation builds and releases through its rhythm of emergence, clustering, and dissipation.

The executor's own account of what it built, kept verbatim. A claim about the work, not a finding about it.

closer to its brief: 0.41 over 37 pairs

Bradley–Terry over this population's pairs alone. 1.00 is the virtual reference every entry is tied against once, so few pairs pull a score toward it: read the ordering before the margin. Views and likes are engagement, not judgment, and are not in this number.

Two populations, two scores, never one aggregate.
